Juniors,
Last year we started a new incentive for juniors to put more effort into preparing for their SAT. DHS juniors are able to earn an extra final exam exemption during second semester if they complete 20 hours of Khan Academy SAT prep by April 9. Juniors who meet or exceed in both areas of the SAT also earn an extra exemption in the first semester of their senior year. Most students are able to get these hours completed during study hall; however, not all juniors take a study hall. There is a paraprofessional available in the library every day after school to help students sign up for the official SAT prep. Data from hundreds of thousands of students illustrate that 20 or more hours of Khan Academy SAT test prep may increase your score by as much as 100 points.
