2nd Chance Dress Closet - Homecoming is September 26th and we have a large selection of gently used and brand-new dresses available for you! Stop in the main office and see Stephanie if you would like to take a look.
Homecoming 2026 – The theme is RIO!
Dress up days are as follow:
· Monday – Adam Sandler Day
· Tuesday – Meme or P.J. Day
· Wednesday – Color Wars (Fr. – Green, So. – White, Jr. – Blue, Sr. – Red, Staff – Black)
· Thursday – Vsco vs. Emo
· Friday – Spirit Day
Pep Assembly - You can sign up for the assembly games in the main office. The games this year are: pack the plywood, snatch yo wig, bed mattress relay race, and the famous tug-of-war contest of which the teachers have won eighteen out of the last nineteen years!
Tickets for the Homecoming Dance – Tickets are available until Tuesday, 9/22 in the cafeteria during lunchtime. Costs this year are $12. The price will include a ticket and a button made by the Lifeskills class. The buttons are a memento for this year's dance.
Homecoming Pictures – MF Imaging Studio will be present at the Homecoming Dance for any of your on the spot picture needs. These pictures will be available for purchase throughout the night.
Homecoming King and Queen – Voting will be live next week. Be on the lookout for an email from Mr. Woodward regarding.
Seniors - Check your email for a link to submit your senior quote for inclusion in the 2027 yearbook. Also, find a separate email to submit a baby/toddler photo. The senior quote will go under your portrait in the yearbook while the baby/toddler photos will be on a separate page. The deadline is October 1. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Bally at mbally@dps170.org.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Invites all students, teachers, and staff to join us on Thursday, September 24, at 7:10 a.m. for See You at the Pole. We will meet at the flagpole in front of the high school for this time of prayer for our school, community, nation, and world.
Boys Basketball - Any boys interested in high school basketball this year - open gyms will be from 5:45am - 7:00am starting Monday, September 21.
DHS Wrestling – Anyone interested in wrestling, open mats have begun, Sundays @ 11a-12p in the DHS wrestling room.
DHS Girls/Boys Bowling - pre- signups are Oct 14 @ 2:45pm in the DHS Cafeteria. Any questions please stop in the Athletic Office.
Dixon Performance - Off-season workouts for those student-athletes not participating in a DHS Fall sport have begun.
Workouts will be Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:55-3:45 PM.
