HOLIDAY BREAK – NO SCHOOL DECEMBER 22-JANUARY 2
📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - All students must present their school ID to gain free entry into all home games. Please note: No ID = No free admission. Season pass holders must bring and show their season pass at the gate to enter free. If you do not have your pass with you, regular admission fees will apply. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to seeing you at the games!
FCA will be meeting on Tuesday, December 16th, at 7:00 a.m. in the auditorium this week instead of Thursday. Everyone is welcome!
DHS Greenhouse Holiday Plant Sale - Dec 15,17 & 19 7am-3pm / Dec 16 & 18 7am-4pm. If coming during school hours email bmarco@dps170.org or call/text 815-508-9743. 10 Inch Ivy Variety Baskets $25 & Various Succulents $7 or 2 for $10
Student Council is sponsoring our annual Mitten Tree. There are two trees, one in the cafeteria and one in the main hallway by the main office. You may donate any new or lightly used mittens, scarves, or stocking hats. All donations will go to people in the Dixon area who are in need of these items this winter season. You can give all the way up to December 17th.
Students, break out those hideous holiday sweaters!!! Student Council is sponsoring the annual ‘Ugly Holiday Sweater’ day. This year it will be Wednesday, December 17th. If you participate, you can put your name in the bucket at lunch time in the cafeteria. One winner will be drawn for each lunch period and must be present to win. The winner will receive a $10 gift card to Culver’s!
FFA members are hosting a meeting and study group on December 17th at 5:30p in the AG room for students to get help with homework before finals. All are welcome!
WACC CEO Program applications are now open. Students wishing to participate in the Whiteside CEO program next year must complete an application and be accepted into the program. The application can be found at https://www.wacc-ceo.com/applynow/application. The deadline to submit the application is February 28th, 2026. See your counselor if you have any questions.
