Stuff to Know

Spring Musical Auditions - Auditions for the spring musical Matilda will be held on Tuesday (11/18) from 4:30-7:30 PM and Wednesday (11/19) from 3:30-6:00 PM.  See Mr. Hoffman in room 404 or Ms. Risner in the choir room to pick up materials and sign up for a time.

Attention Girls Volleyball Players – Please return your uniforms to the Athletic Office.

Senior Banners are available in the Athletic Office for pickup.

Girls Bowling starts on November 17th, 4:30p at Plum Hollow.

Dixon Sister Cities Association is offering a $1,000 scholarship towards a trip to Herzberg, Germany. This trip will take place from September 25, 2026 to October 3rd, 2026. Student travelers must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult sponsor. For more information, please pick up an application packet from the Guidance Office. Deadline to submit the application is December 10, 2025. 

Parents and Supporters of the Class of 2026 - If you are interested in purchasing a senior ad in the 2026 yearbook, go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and use school code 8554. Once you get to the main page, click on “Yearbook Ads” on the top of the page and follow the prompts. Prices range from $30 for a sixteenth of a page to $300 for a full page with options of an eighth, a quarter, and a half page in between. The deadline to include a senior ad in the 2026 yearbook is Friday, January 16. Space is limited, so don't wait. If you have questions or need assistance placing a senior ad, contact yearbook adviser Michelle Bally at mbally@dps170.org

Career Fair - Attention juniors and seniors who are interested in learning about building construction and the trades fields!  There will be a field trip to a Career Expo in Rockford in February. You will learn about apprenticeship programs and construction careers as well as experience hands-on construction activities and explore the trades. Visit FindYourTrade.org to learn more.
