Congratulations to Gage Farster, Dixon High School’s Student of the Month for May!
Attention Volleyball Players – There is an open gym this Sunday, May 3, from 5-7pm.

Spirit Week - Student Council is sponsoring 'Spirit Week' the week of promfor all DHS students.
· Monday - Pajama Day
· Tuesday - Rhyme without a Reason Day
· Wednesday - Underclassmen - Kindergartener Day / Upperclassmen - Senior Citizen Day
· Thursday - Miami Beach vs Miami Night Club
· Friday - Spirit Day = Purple & White - we will also have a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament all day long. Beads will be handed out to 1st hour teachers this day!
Prom Information - Junior and Senior parents we need some help with prom setup, decorations, clean-up, and donations for the 2026 Prom. Please use the links below to get involved. Dixon Public Library – The DPL Teen Advisory Board is meeting Monday, May 4th from 3:15-4:15p. Students meet once per quarter to discuss a variety of library-related content such as teen programming ideas, library improvements and more! There is no sign-up required, but teens who are particularly members of SVCC’s IMPACT Program can earn volunteer hours. Snacks will be provided!
🎓 Athletic College Signing Day Announcement – May 6, 2026 🎓- Join us as we celebrate an exciting milestone for our student-athletes on Athletic College Signing Day, happening Wednesday, May 6, 2026! This special event recognizes the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our athletes as they take the next step in both their academic and athletic journeys.
📅 Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2026
📍Location: Lancaster Gym (After Award Ceremony)
⏰ Time: 7pm
Important Details for Participants: Sign up in the Athletic Office to reserve your spot. Each student-athlete who signs up will be provided with a table & chairs for their parents/siblings. Participants are responsible for decorating their table the night of the event—get creative and represent your future college! Student athletes are encouraged to wear apparel representing their future school. Family, friends, and staff are all invited to attend and celebrate as these athletes officially sign their commitment. 🎉 We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Senior Picnic – Seniors, join your classmates for a Senior Picnic May 20, after graduation practice, on the DHS greenhouse lawn. Come relax, have fun and enjoy your final moments at DHS. Hotdog lunch and yard games provided.
Grand Detour Art Festival – Student applications, and additional information, for the Grand Detour Student Art Exhibit on September 13, 2025 are available in the Guidance Office or with Mr. Olson in the Art Room.
