DHS Parking for Students - Attention students (and families)! If you drive to school and park at DHS (in the parking lot or on Lincoln Statue Drive), you must purchase a parking pass in the main office during the first two weeks of school. Parking passes can be purchased in the main office for $20 (cash or check made to Dixon High School) and must be displayed in the window of the vehicle. Students without parking passes will not be allowed to park on campus after the first two weeks of school. For students who become drivers during the 2nd semester of school, discounted parking passes will be sold in January. Please see the main office with questions.
Cafe Royale - Opens this week for morning and lunch service. The first 50 students will receive a free DHS Vinyl sticker with their purchase. Thanks for supporting the DHS Transitions class.
2nd Chance Dress Closet - Homecoming is September 26th and we have a large selection of gently used and brand-new dresses available for you! Stop in the main office and see Stephanie if you would like to take a look.
FFA - Dixon Chapter is hosting a Parent & Student Information Night September 1st at 6:00pm in the Ag room. Students and parents will learn about all of the opportunities the National FFA Organization offers and ask questions about our program. Dinner will be provided.
Theatre Department – If you are interested in ANY of the Theatre Department Activities, an informational meeting will be held on August 31st @ 6:30p, students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend.
Rehearsal for Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein will begin Tuesday September 1st. @ TBA
Spain Trip 2028 - Are you looking for adventure? Señora Fitzanko is taking a trip to Spain in June of 2028 and would like all interested students to see those famous places you have studied, experience Spanish culture firsthand, try out your Spanish speaking skills, and see new parts of the world! Check out the informational meeting on Thursday, September 17 at 5:30pm in room 209 and please bring a parent. Please enter through door 10, which is next to the cafeteria parking lot. Don't miss this AMAZING opportunity! See you there!
