DIXON HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
1) Seniors: don’t forget to set up an appointment time to recognize your graduation. If you did not receive the link please call the school. Also, a short survey has been sent to your school email. Please respond and include where you would like your final transcript sent.
2) Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors: will be required to turn in their chrome books on Tuesday, May 26 or Wednesday, May 27 between 8:00 and 2:30 in the DHS cafeteria lot. Please make sure to have the charger, case and strap when you turn your chrome book in. You should also bring any borrowed calculators, text books, library books etc. at this time also. Any locker items that have not yet been picked up will be handed out at this time.
3) UPDATE: Yearbooks: 2020 yearbooks are currently sold out, but there will be a few extras available for purchase upon delivery. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, contact Michelle Bally at mbally@dps170.org as soon as possible. The extra yearbooks will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Yearbooks will be delivered after June 20.
4) Summer Eats Program: The United Way of Lee County will provide free grab and go meals for kids and teens every Wednesday beginning June 3rd through August 12th. Each site will only serve on Wednesdays but will provide 3 lunches for each child along with extra goodies. Meals will be served at each of the DPS schools and the old Lincoln School every Wednesday at noon. For more information and additional pickup locations visit uwleeco.org or call 815.284.3339.
