Beginning next week, Grab & Go Meals will be distributed from 9-11 am on Mondays and Wednesdays. This allows our paraprofessionals time to work with students prior to the meal distribution. Meals can be picked up at Washington, Jefferson, Madison/Reagan, and Lincoln School.

DPS170: Clarification- Elementary students will return on 1-4-2021, Monday through Thursday, with remote learning on Friday. Sorry for the confusion.

School resumes tomorrow utilizing the schedule we had prior to our adaptive pause.

Parents: Please remember to complete the daily symptom reporting form beginning on Monday, January 4th. A form must be completed each day for each student who is on-site for in-person learning. Reporting forms are found on the front page of our website: www.dps170.org

Parents: We have updated our COVID protocol to reflect the change in quarantine days. Students who are positive, exposed to someone positive, or exhibiting COVID-like symptoms are now out for 10 days instead of 14. Masks are still required when on campus. https://5il.co/o8yv

We are hiring. We have 2 teaching positions open for the 2nd semester.

Information from the Lee County Health Department regarding the CDC guidelines:
All Lee County Residents should continue to abide by 14-day quarantine guidelines until further notice. The new guidelines outlined by CDC for 7- or 10-day quarantines have not been adopted by IDPH at this time. With the new guidelines come other requirements that our community members will need to adhere to in order to have the reduced quarantine time, if those are utilized at a later date. Any changes will be announced by LCHD.
Our nurses and administrators will continue to follow the 14-day quarantine guidelines. We will keep you informed if that should change in the future.
Remember to reach out to your building nurse if you have any questions, or if you need to report a symptomatic or COVID positive student.

Parents/Guardians: Click on the links below for this week's COVID data. The data reflects those out currently as COVID positive or under quarantine. This data reflects info from parents who have notified us regarding their students being symptomatic or COVID + since we are on an adaptive pause.
