Dixon High School

The Homecoming Parade is tomorrow! The start of the parade is at 3:30pm. It will begin on Lincoln Statue Drive. We will then cross the bridge on Peoria Avenue. The parade will continue up to 2nd Street, over to Hennepin, back down to 1st Street and back onto Peoria Ave. Then we will finally cross back over the bridge on Peoria Ave to Lincoln Statue Drive. A graphic detailing the route has been shared on our social media pages. #BePurple

A group of DHS students recently formed a Dixon Meals Matter group, which had their first door to door food drive. These young ladies raised over 400 lbs of food which went directly to the Dixon Community Food Pantry!

DHS Assistant Principal Mr. Tate is this week's spirit stick award winner. Mr. Tate is not one for recognition, but he has worked tirelessly for the past several weeks getting our students started in the Progress Learning ACT prep program as well as organizing our W.I.N. days this week to help students get caught up in classes they need extra support in.
